Long Time No Post

Well, I've been busy and have not posted much here.

Work is busy as always. My head is busy LOL... always thinking my day job will go under or that I'll get fired from my second job I'm always imagining the worst.

I was off friday from my day job so I went to the Dr. he gave me some migrain medicine to try. I've been having chronic sinus infections, I had a ct scan last week on my sinuses and was told I had mild sinus disease.

March of last year I quit taking prozac because I thought it interefered with my creativity. Well the Dr. has me on prozac again. My problems off the prozac I guess are worse than just my lack of creativity I'll just have to work harder when writing I guess.

My roach colonies are growing. I sold a lobster roach colony to the reptile store and got $50 store credit. I think I'll stick with the discoid roaches they are bigger and have more meat, The lobster roaches were good when the lizards were smaller but their appetites are too big now for lobster roaches.

My dog cricket is doing good. She was really sick last month for a little over a week. Some sort of respitory infection she had a lot of trouble breathing. It was r eally hard and fast, she would not eat and threw up all over and had direah.

She snapped out of it the day before her vet appointment I was relieved to say the least, I was really worried she scared me.

I went shopping and bought cricket some new toys and a cute little denim dress.
I bought her some green things that are supposed to help with diggie breath and supposed to be good for dogs but it made her throw up terrible so I threw the rest away. won't be buying those again thats for sure.

Interesting night

Tonight at work I saw my very first fake bill someone tried to spend 2 fake 20's the CSM showed it to me when she was brining it to the cash office

Also a cashier got off work tonight only to find that her car was stolen.

Kids and Money scary.. a boy buys some cards he hands me a wad of money and starts to walk off I call him back and tell him not only does he have change coming but he gave me way too much money.

His mother said that he went to the flea market with $40 and bought a small plastic gun and had hardly any money left. This boy was totally clueless.

My nephew was calculating his change by the time he was 5yrs old he knew what he was getting back.

Another Day at Work

The second half of the shift was long specially when you have your 1st break AND your lunch break in the first 2 1/2 hours ACK!!!!!!

That makes the second half of the shift sooo long.

Later the person that sent me soo early came by and apologised and said I could take an extra break, I said I just needed to go to the bathroom and she said ok.

I've had a headache the last 2 days, it's been 3 weeks since my last round of headaches. A while back the Dr said my headaches were from taking too muich tylenol and advil and that if I went 2 weeks without no over counter headaches stuff I would have no more headaches.

Ummmmm no it did not work it's been 3 weeks and I have headaches again. I told the Dr they come and go sometimes I week or 2 with no headaches then I'll have headaches for 2 or 3 weeks.

He kept saying it was the tylenol and advil i was taking.

Oh well...

Wellll

My brother was finally seen by a Dr. He will be in hospital one more day then go home tomorrow and just go back a few more times for the oxygen chamber.

I'm getting ready to go to work now, I have a headache, I was sitting here watching my goldfish it is getting bigger.

Update on Brother, Insurance Sucks

Ok my brother has been on the hospital all week with that flesh eating virus, they did 2 surgeries and cut a big chunk out of his leg. He was supposed to have another surgery today but before they could do it the insurance company contacted the hospital and told them no that they wanted him transfered to another hospital.

Now my brother is middle class he makes more money than all the rest of the family put together. This is what my sister in law is use to.

So they go to the new hospital, my sister in law is mortified to see bums sleeping on the sidewalk, homeless people in the hospital and so on. She called it a Ghetto hospital.

They go inside and try to get admited and the hospital tells them they don't know what to do with them. The hospital is not ready for him and they don't know where to put him. this was about noon. When I went to work at 7pm he was still waiting.

I know insurance companies want to save money but good grief...

Anyway, just hoping his leg gets fixed up right.

Flesh Eating Bacteria

Ok my brother came down with this amd has been on the hospital all week.
The cut a 4x4 chunk of flesh off his leg, he has had 2 operations this week and is having a 3rd operation tomorrow.

They also keep puting him in a hyperbolic(SP?) chamber thingy I guess it's an oxygen thing.

He is a supervisor for United airlines and has been wanting to get a transfer to Hong Kong the interview was supposed to be this week. He missed the interview but they said they would reschedule the interview.

Ok now for the weird part, my sister inlaw has some strange ideas anyway, I guess there is a church in mexico with a dirt floor I guess it is miracle dirt that heals. Of course she happened to have some. She took him a ziploc bag of her miracle dirt to the hospital to heal his leg.

She is very supertstitious and some of her ideas just blow my mind but I've learned not to correct or argue with her. We had a 1/2 hour "Discussion" on the long term effects of shaving a babies head.

I don't discuss much with her anymore I just don't have patience with ignorant people my brother is a very patient sort LOL...

In other news my day job this year is having a wage freeze AND paycuts. I lost 25 cents an hour. My wal-mart job I am getting a 40 cent raise.

So 25 cent paycut on full time job and a 40 cent raise on a part time job I am breaking even.

I guess breaking even is better than falling behind :)

I wish the cost of everything stopped going up, couple of months it will be time for lot rent to go up hopefully it will be a warm winter to keep the heating bill down.

Scams they never end.

I just want a comfortable pair of jeans

Maybe it's just the style and how they are cut, or maybe it's because I'm shopping at wal-mart, but I hate the way my jeans fit. Where do I find some comfy jeans???

The biggest thing is there is such a big gap in the back waist bad I swear I could fit a 2 liter bottle of pop back there. Whats up with that??? it is so loose the gap bugs the heck out of me but at the same time it is tight on my stomach so I can't breath and at the same time they feel like they are falling down in the back.

I get most of my t-shirts on ebay wal-mart shirts are ugly specially the bigger sized shirts
